Getting to know me

Getting to know me, there are many things that are unique about me, but I will only share one. Which is that I love to watch anime, anime is a Japanese cartoon. So normally they are in japanese I would watch them with English subs since I am not that good at understanding them, but what I learned by watching anime. It actually helps me in my japanese class. I am taking japanese 3 and if I didn't watch any anime I would have been really poor at japanese 3, or even quit. People say that watching anime is weriod or even lame, I understand that people have there own opinions but I belive that watching anime is not. You can learn many things such as the culture of Japan and the history of it, also u can learn about japanese of course. Slowly I was able to make conversation in japanese I wanted to test my skills so I was trying to talk with my great grandmother in japanese since she knows japanese, and she was so supprised and happy that I was talking in japanese to her and was making a conversation. Even though when I was talking to her I was making mistake she was so proud of me to learn to talk in japanese all by my self. She was also supprised that I had learned to talk by watching anime, at first she laughed but later on encourage me to continue. I am happy that I watch anime because if i didn't watch anime I would have never been able to talk to my great grandmother, and would have never pass my japanese classes. So I encourage people to whatch anime and who knows they might learn somthing from watching too. (296)
